Canyon PSA-Panther Soccer Academy Juniors Program for 6-8 year old boys and Girls Canyon PSA-Panther Soccer Academy, under the direction of Eddie Carrillo-Chapman University Director of Soccer and Luis Balboa- Canyon PSA Technical Director, is announcing 2009 JUNIOR Academy dates for boys and girls ages 6-8 years old. The PSA Juniors Academy will focus on the total development of each player. If you are looking to improve your soccer skill or prepare your player for the transition from Recreational soccer to Competitive Soccer the Juniors Academy is the Best place to start. The Academy is staffed by Canyon PSA Club and Collegiate Coaches who will create a fun but rich learning environment.
Location: Juniors Academy will be held at Yorba Regional Park, Anaheim. Yorba Regional is located off La Palma between Fairmont Blvd and Weir Canyon
From Anaheim Traveling on Weir Canyon/Yorba Linda Blvd turn left); on La Palma ). Pass the entrance to Yorba Regional Park and continue, you will see the Yorba softball complex on your left side.
Training Time: 5:00-6:30pm The Junior Academy Sessions:

The cost is $10.00 per session and includes a Junior Academy T-shirt. After your first session, come back wearing your Junior Academy T-shirt and only pay $5 per session.

It's not only about winning. It's about teaching, growing, and developing the skills necessary to compete at the college level and beyond. Canyon PSA wants to develop technically sound players with a vision of how the game should be played. We strive to win without sacrificing learning. We want players to build a base that will empower them during critical early stages of development. Desire, attitude, intensity, character, and accountability are but a few of the traits we look for and will develop in our players. In the end, we do not wish to be judged by how many championships were won or lost. We want to be judged by how our players matured and developed into not only college caliber soccer players, but also great people. Ultimately, we want our success to be measured by the number of Canyon PSA players that participate in soccer at the collegiate level and by the success our players achieve in all aspects of their lives.
Club Directors
Eddie Carrillo - Club Director: Canyon PSA was founded and has been under the direction of Eddie Carrillo since 1998. Eddie is currently the Director of Coaching @ Chapman University. Eddie has over 23 years of coaching experience with both Men and Women at the College, High School and Club Levels. Luis Balboa – Technical Director: Luis Balboa joined Canyon PSA in 2003. Luis has brought over 30 years of Club coaching experience to Canyon PSA. His international and professional experience as a player and coach has helped direct our club. In addition to being a vital factor in his son’s development, (Marcelo Balboa – former US National team Captain and player of the year), Luis has coached many collegiate and professional players as well as many top soccer clubs.
