The Canyon PSA Girls U15 team headed by Coach Eddie Carrillo wins their third tournament this year.  Congratulations PSA Girls U15!

On Saturday August 2, 2008, PSA started the tournament matched with Mission Viejo Elite.  Mission Viejo is a CSL Silver South U14 team playing up. That game ended in a 1-1 tie. The competition was tough.  The second match was against the Arizona Infernal Black, a high ranking U15 team out of Scottsdale, AZ. PSA lifted their spirits from the previous tie game by extinguished the Inferno 4-1.  PSA found they were entering into another semi-final for the second time in as many weeks.

On Sunday August 3, PSA was matched against the Mission Viejo Crush.  Interestingly, both Mission Viejo teams are CSL U14 Silver South teams.  The Crush's name described their demise as PSA took the match 4-0.  This placed PSA in the Championship round with the Placer United Prestige. Placer is a U15 Silver team from Roseville, California.  Placer had come a long distance to demonstrate what they were made of with no goals against and 10 goals for coming into the Championship match. However, The "no goals against" record was short lived as PSA fought a vicious 80 minute battle with Prestige, winning the Championship 2-0.  Congratulations to Haley Brzycki and Alyssa Muro, tournament MVP's.
